Latest developments to 2collab

Hi Everyone

We have recently finished testing and released some new features and refinements to 2collab – as you may have noticed. New features include:

  • Tick and select boxes for your bookmarks – so now you can select exactly which bookmarks from your My Bookmarks page you want to export, share, or delete. Tip: if you don’t select any bookmark (leaving all boxes unticked) you can still delete, share or export all bookmarks
  • Spam reporting – in another step in our anti-spam plans we have implemented a new “mark as spam” action for bookmarks. So if you see a bookmark that is clearly spam, or maybe you think is spam, please report it using this action which is listed under the “options” button. In addition to this, we do also regularly clean the site ourselves.

And also we have refined the RSS feeds – we know the feeds were returning some strange results and have ironed these out. Please do let us know if you experience any different!

Fighting spam

Hi All

We just wanted to let everyone know that we are implementing a new spam management approach very soon. Until then, you can continue to report offensive bookmarks and offsensive comments using our existing features, or for outright spam bookmarks please let us know by sending an email to feedback<at>2collab.com

We are also monitoring the site and taking action on clearly obvious spam items.

2collab improves performance

As some of you noticed, our performance speeds have tended to lag at peak times. We are currently focusing on improving overall service performance. A first step has been made today by releasing some minor changes that improve significantly the performance for the whole site. You can see the performance gains below, compared over last week and today.
